Royal Holloway research: Reflecting among plants Tickets and Dates

What do you think about when you are with plants? Do you have a special way of looking at things in amongst the plants and trees, a different way of walking around and a different way of experiencing the environment? How and why might these greenspaces improve your mental health or matter to you? Whether a novice or a frequent visitor to Wakehurst gardens, this discussion-based workshop invites you to philosophically reflect on these questions and offers an opportunity for understanding and actively engaging with your experiences of botanic environments.

The workshop, facilitated by researchers from Royal Holloway, University of London, will provide an opportunity to creatively engage with Wakehurst's collections, immersing yourself in them and cultivating critical enquiry.

The workshop forms part of The Philosophical Life of Plants project, funded by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council.
